Yahweh gave Israel a savior, and they went out from under the hand of Aram. So the Israelites[a] lived in their tents as formerly.[b] Yet they did not depart from the sins of the house of Jeroboam which he caused Israel to sin, but walked in it; and also, the pole of the Asherah worship was still standing in Samaria.
